What we collect

When you send an enquiry using a form on this website, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, and optionally your telephone number, organisation, location, information about your building or project, and your message.

If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use the site (see below). We don't use advertising trackers.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website — for example which pages are viewed and how people arrive — so we can improve it. It's only switched on if you click Accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set.

When it is switched on, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_…, which last up to two years, and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, device and browser. Google Analytics does not log or store your full IP address. Our lawful basis for this is your consent.

You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We won't add you to a marketing list or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers enquiry form submissions to our email inbox.
• GitHub Pages hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Microsoft 365 and Titan host our email, where the enquiries we receive are stored.
• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) measures site usage, only if you've accepted analytics cookies.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If your enquiry leads to work with us, the details become part of our customer records.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To make a request, email hello@carehomewifi.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
