CareHomeWiFi.com is the specialist care-sector division of the Inspire Group. We focus on one type of building — the care home — and on the network infrastructure that modern care depends on.
What makes us different
We understand how care homes operate, how they're built and what they depend on.
A care home isn't an office with bedrooms. One physical network has to carry care systems, staff devices, residents, visitors, security, voice and entertainment — reliably, around the clock, and without any of them interfering with the others.
We've spent years working with the developers who build care homes and the operators who run them. That means we know how a construction programme works, where networks go wrong in occupied homes, and what care technology suppliers need from the infrastructure underneath them.
CareHomeWiFi.com began in 2021. The Inspire Group had been working on the private residence of LNT Care's owner, and the standard of service and commitment led LNT to ask us to take over the network and WiFi installation for all of their care homes — and to give every home the same level of service. That programme, described in our LNT case study, is where our repeatable new-build standard comes from, and it's the approach we now bring to developers and operators across the UK.
How we work
Four things we've learned inside care homes.
The home never stops.
Care homes run 24 hours a day. Installation and upgrade work is planned around the building, not the other way round.
Technology should disappear.
Access points need to work architecturally as well as technically — positioned for coverage without looking out of place in a resident's room or lounge.
Sequencing is design.
On new builds, infrastructure has to be coordinated with other trades during first fix. Getting the order right matters as much as the specification.
Records outlive installs.
A network without accurate documentation is very difficult for anyone to support later — including us. We document everything we build.
